Terms of Service

Klingbo Intelligence Ltd (“Klingbo”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in Ghana. We operate the Klingbo web application, mobile application, and educators portal (collectively, the “Platform”) which provides AI-assisted study tools for Ghanaian students, university learners, guardians, teachers, and education institutions.

The Platform includes WASSCE preparation, GES curriculum-aligned learning support, WAEC past-paper practice, university study tools, and guidance features that help users organise information about tertiary programmes, including GTEC-regulated accreditation information.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Klingbo is independent. We are not WAEC, GES, GTEC, the Ministry of Education, or a university admissions office. References to those bodies are for learning, guidance, and information organisation unless a written partnership is separately announced.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Klingbo. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. You must provide accurate information when registering. You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms.

Klingbo supports learning and planning. We do not register candidates for WAEC examinations, issue WAEC certificates, release WASSCE results, approve GES curriculum, accredit tertiary institutions, or make admission decisions for universities.

WASSCE users must confirm examination registration, timetables, rules, results, certificates, and official notices directly with WAEC Ghana or their school. SHS users should confirm school policies and official curriculum requirements with GES, NaCCA, their teachers, or their school. University users should confirm accreditation, programme approval, admission requirements, and institutional status directly with GTEC and the relevant institution.

Klingbo offers a free tier and paid subscription plans priced in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. Payments are processed via Paystack (card) or Hubtel (Mobile Money).

Subscriptions auto-expire after 30 days and do not auto-renew unless you initiate a new payment. There are no hidden fees. The price shown at checkout is the total amount charged.

Refunds: We offer a full refund within 48 hours of payment if you have not used more than 5 AI tutor sessions. Contact support@klingbo.com to request one.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform to cheat in WAEC/WASSCE, school exams, university assessments, admissions tests, interviews, or any other assessment
• Ask Klingbo to produce answers for a live, ongoing, closed-book, or restricted examination
• Upload leaked WAEC papers, confidential school materials, stolen university documents, or content you are not allowed to share
• Misrepresent Klingbo guidance as official WAEC, GES, GTEC, school, university, or government advice
• Share, resell, or redistribute Platform content without our written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models or content databases
• Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes third-party rights
• Use automated tools to access the Platform at scale

The Klingbo AI tutor generates responses based on curriculum-aligned learning material, WAEC/WASSCE-style practice, public education information, and your uploaded study materials. While we train and evaluate our AI carefully, AI-generated content may contain errors.

You should not rely solely on AI responses for final exam preparation, school assignments, university decisions, accreditation checks, or admissions planning. Always cross-reference with teachers, lecturers, official WAEC notices, official GES or NaCCA materials, official GTEC accreditation records, and the relevant institution.

Klingbo is not responsible for academic outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

When you upload documents, notes, or other materials (“Your Content”), you retain ownership. You grant Klingbo a limited licence to process Your Content to provide the Platform's features (e.g. embedding notes for AI-backed revision). We do not sell Your Content to third parties.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content can be lawfully uploaded. Do not upload copyrighted books, teacher-only marking schemes, leaked examination papers, restricted university materials, or another person's personal data without permission.

You can delete Your Content at any time from the Notes page. Deletion removes it from active processing; residual copies in backups are purged within 30 days.

The Platform, including its design, code, AI workflows, product structure, and curated learning experience, is owned by Klingbo Intelligence Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from it without written permission.

WAEC, WASSCE, GES, GTEC, university names, institutional names, and related marks belong to their respective owners. Klingbo references them only to describe learning support, education context, or public information relevant to Ghanaian learners.

If a school, university, teacher, sponsor, or organisation provides your access to Klingbo, additional rules from that institution may apply. The institution may control seat allocation, class groups, assigned tasks, and institution-level progress reporting.

Where institution terms conflict with these Terms, these Terms control your relationship with Klingbo unless a signed contract says otherwise.

We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, backend service restarts, connectivity issues, offline sync limits, third-party outages, and force-majeure events may cause downtime. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance where possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, Klingbo's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 30 days before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

We are not liable for missed registration deadlines, examination rule violations, incorrect official-result checks, university admission outcomes, accreditation decisions, or academic decisions made without confirming the relevant official source.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
